The Annual London Boat Show opened its 2014 exhibition last Saturday at The ExCel Centre in Royal Victoria Dock, London.

The show gives boat manufacturers and companies that provide products and services within the industry the opportunity to display their wares over the course of 9 days in January.

British brands in particular benefit from the Boat Show and UK-based yacht builders see it as an excellent opportunity to promote the export of luxury British goods. Poole-based yacht builders Sunseeker, currently occupy the centre of the ExCel and recently launched their Sunseeker 75 at the Show with the help of James Cordon. Princess Yachts also have also made a strong showing this year with an equally impressive stand.

Boats of all shapes and sizes are welcomed however, with exhibited vessels ranging from the 1899 Sailing Barge Melissa, to the modern day Royal Navy Orcs.

The Show is also well attended. Ben Ainslie has already made a public appearance and his BAR AC45 multihull catamaran, which competed in the 2012-2013 America’s Cup, is on display.

The Show will be open for visitors until Sunday and further details can be found on The Boat Show website, a link to which is provided below:
